Domestic and Family Violence and Sexual Assault Initiative

Projects funded 2005-06 and 2006-07

In February 2006, 27 community-based organisations were successful in receiving grants under the Domestic and Family Violence and Sexual Assault Initiative. These organisations share in more than $1.5 million during 2005-06 and 2006-07.

The funding will enable these organisations to deliver projects aimed at decreasing the impact of sexual assault and domestic violence by trialling and evaluating new preventative and response mechanisms and/or developing and promoting products to assist in best practice service delivery.
