Domestic and Family Violence and Sexual Assault Initiative 2007-08
In May 2007, 17 community-based organisations were successful in receiving grants under the Domestic and Family Violence and Sexual Assault Initiative. These organisations share in more than $1.97 million during 2007-08.
The funding will enable these organisations to deliver projects aimed at decreasing the impact of sexual assault and domestic violence by trialling and evaluating new preventative and response mechanisms and/or developing and promoting products to assist in best practice service delivery.
